Okay - I will choose to feed as many labor units as I can. Since each feeds three, I will have 9 remaining after this phase.

Clinton will have six (6).

Kersus - you're feeding everyone?

I will leave three on my plane factory, and 6 on food.

Clinton - I need to know where you will be taking your nine losses from.

...and I just need to know if Kersus is feeding all of his guys.

Let me know gang. we're at phase #3!

No Clinton - you have to lose Labor Units.

Fear not, you can get them back by taking factories from Kersus and I.

but you need to tell me where your 6 units will be, and they have to start in the locations where the currently reside.

IOW, you have to get rid of nine labor units that are already on the board, from their current locations on the board.

Okay after we have all eaten, the board looks like this:

...and then its my move and attack, if I land on an opponents factory or a square they occupy. I'll do that now.

Each plane I move will burn one oil, so I can move two.

I have moved two planes to the two R&D factories in my country, as shown on the map. Note that my oil stockpile has disappeared.

I will receive two free commodities (like food) for these factories next turn; one each. Note that you can not place Labor Units in these factories, only military units.

Kibitz time... lets see what has happened to the market.

The main producer of tanks has suffered a severe drought and food shortage, so market analysts expect the price of tanks to go up somewhat. This drought should also cause the price of food to skyrocket, and oil consumption is expected to diminish sharply for the next quarter (turn) as a result as well.

The wealthy Greens are expected to stockpile a huge supply of food next quarter (turn) and will most likely take over some of Yellow's Tank market as, although they can not produce these lumbering deathwagons cheaply, they can produce them efficiently. Given the current shortages in the world, watch for most countries to be in the market for the two scarcest commodities, Tanks and Food.

Red appears to have suffered somewhat from the drought as well, and appears to be looking to new research to satisfy the needs of its people. They also fear invasion of their border factories by both the greens and the yellows, but caution that neither country should be eager to seize the tank factories located on the border, as this will cut the market for this product by fully one third. This "product with no buyers" market would then cause a global economic panic, most experts agree, and the price of fast attack vehicles, like planes, would then skyrocket.

Back to you, Chet...

(And its Green's move and attack phase. With one oil, Green can move either two tanks up to two squares each, or one plane up to four squares. Clinton will not be moving as he has no oil, and I have already moved - so no counter attacks are likely to occur, at least this turn. DO watch your turn timing, however, as Green starts next turn, and I go last.)

(Remember - IF you take an opponent's factory - any factory - you get five additional labor units for the start of next turn. If you move a military unit onto a medical symbol you get one free Labor Unit for each symbol covered at the start of next turn.)

One tank to the only R&D factory of mine I can reach. Another tank to the medical symbol right beside the tanks in my territory.

That is all.

Alternative reporting source claims that the Reds somehow fleeced the Yellows of Oil and that there may be an embargo in the wind. Green finds itself helpless in the middle and the world wonders which side they will fall on.

Am I missing a food stockpile?

You made 6, and traded one to Clinton.

That left you five.

You had five, and you fed 15 people... each feeds three.

So nope, you should be up to date.

he - funny you shjould mention...

The pubbed rules use 4 per - the house rules use three.

It plays both ways, with three causing a slight mathematical shift towards food, 4 towards oil.

...I hadn't remembered that we pubbed 4....

...and I posted the rules from memory!
