Okay - so this was week#1 of the move.
Here's the general layout of the house:
Downstairs we have
Living room, dinette, kitchen, downstairs bath, Laundry Room, new design office, dining room, garage
There's also 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and a full unfinished basement with 10-foot ceilings.
The new office is 14X14, and I'm hoping all of the equipment, and my desk and game supplies (design and writing, not actual gaming) will fit. We'll see.
This week, we scrubbed the tile floor that covers the floor in the dinette and kitchen area, and resealed it, vacuumed the whole house thoroughly, brought in my woodshop (fills half the garage), and my wife's vanity and stool. We also brought some clothes and towels 'cause moving makes you stinky. This week I hope to move the "ready stock" (our cover and paper supplies), and the stock of micro-games and modules. With luck, perhaps our trimmer, binder, and printers/presses.
We'll see what fits. I have a feeling the basement, which is both tight and dry,we'll see some shelves go up for stock. I'd rather build a barn out back, but I think that will take me too long.
I have informed my wife that gaming will take place in the dining room, and that perhaps it should have a dual-name. Why should that big oak table see only occasional use???
7 weeks before we're booted... and counting... wish me luck.
