Role Playing in the old LA Style... 2-3 session adventure

I am going to run a 2-3 session "shorty", using LA rules, later this month (target date is Dec. 12th for first session).

If folks would prefer to use 1E D&D rules, we can .. but do let me know. I am fully comfortable either way.

Current plan is Friday nights (7-ish CST). Do let me know your thoughts on the matter.

New characters, or those from the old Hazgar campaign, are welcome. Pregens can be made available upon request.

THIS WILL BE A PLAYTEST of a generic adventure I am in the midst of writing with a hoped for pub date this month (just before X-mas). It will be pubbed in the generic style of A Challenge of Arm's and The Ritual of the Golden Eyes.

...and prolly only available as a pdf on disk or as a download.

Prepare for, "The Hidden Valley of the Claws".... 'cause its a-comin'!

I have actually had several suggestions for the 11th.... and time-wise it will be at 7 PM CST.

But I need to know for certain, and by the end of this weekend...

Will the 11th work for those who would like to play?

Thursday are impossible for me until January. But, if you have enough people for Thursday, just go ahead without me. You need to get it playtested more than I need to play.

I am thinking that the answer will be to run two different groups, a Thursday and a Friday group....


That's the current plan.

I'll post a final decision later today. Afrter all, 'tis the season to game.

Ugh, Thursday isn't good for me. I may not be able to at all, and even if I am, it's a touch and go type thing.

Friday's already marked into my Calendar (12th).

Of course I may have to run a game Saturday the 13th.... So much for cramming some prep the night before-:lol:.

I'll be reading any and all logs with interest (hint hint), but it looks like I'll have to sit this one out. I won't be able to find a 2-3 hour time block in the next little while.

the first this Thursday at 7 PM, the second (set) at this Friday ay 7 PM

3-3.5 hour sessions.

and I'll ask what times are good thereafter of tyhose that attend.
